Natural Stone Lifting • History • Tradition • Personal Challenge
The courage to keep moving forward when life challenges you.
Finding meaning in where you have been and where you are going.
Becoming stronger not simply because of what we have endured, but because of who we choose to become.

Natural stone lifting is more than moving weight. It is about testing yourself against something raw, uneven, and unforgiving. Every stone has its own shape, balance, texture, and challenge.
For generations, lifting stones have been connected to strength, local tradition, and personal achievement. Call to Strength explores that history while also documenting new stories being created today. The stone may remain the same, but every person who approaches it brings a different story.
Strength is more than what we can lift. It is what we carry, what we endure, and what we refuse to let break us.
These seven stones are more than weight. Each one has a name, a history, and a story of its own — a living collection built around strength, legacy, and brotherhood.

The Seven Stones is the story of a personal collection of natural lifting stones, each discovered in a different place and given a name, a history, and a purpose. From the Genesis Stone, where the collection began, to the 276-pound Bravo Stone, each represents another chapter in a continuing journey of strength, challenge, friendship, and legacy. Together, the seven stones have become more than training implements. They are a tradition being built—one intended to be carried forward.
Seven individually named natural stones, each with its own origin and story.
A collection shaped through training, friendship, challenge, and shared experience.
A tradition created today with the intention of being passed to the next generation.

The Chadwick Lake Stone Tour began with a simple walk around Chadwick Lake and the discovery of five natural stones along the trail. Over time, those stones were mapped, documented, lifted, and given names of their own: the Norway Stone, the Sentinel Stone, the Chadwick Stone, the Rover Stone, and the Hundred Stone.
What began as discovery became a tradition—a way to connect natural stone lifting with place, history, challenge, and brotherhood. This guide preserves the locations and stories of the five stones, allowing others to follow the trail, find them, and become part of a story that continues with every person who walks the tour.
Five named natural stones, each with its own location, character, and story.
Landmarks and directions guide you along the route to discover each stone.
Find the stones, respect them, challenge yourself, and leave them for those who follow.

You don’t have to be an athlete to be part of this.
Natural stone lifting is about more than how much weight you can lift. It is about challenging yourself, spending time outdoors, connecting with history and tradition, and sharing the experience with others.
Some people may come to test their strength. Others may come simply to walk the tour, see the stones, learn their stories, take photographs, or experience something different. There is no requirement to lift every stone—or to lift a stone at all.
Come as you are. Walk the trail. Meet the people. Experience the stones.
And, if one of them calls to you, give it a lift.
